BYOND 4.0 Version 483.1092 Release Notes

Please note: This version introduces a feature that was intended, but never completed, for BYOND 4.0. The way icons are handled between the server and client has changed somewhat as a result, and a new format has been introduced. For this reason, any server running this build will require any clients to update to the new version.

• Servers can now offload simple icon processing (such as color changes) to the client. More complex processing, like text, is still done on the server for greater efficiency.
